Deviance in Outsider Sociology Study
Sociology of deviance - The sociology of deviance is the sociological study of deviant behavior, the recognized violation of cultural norms, and the creation and enforcement of those norms. The sociology of deviance is related to, but also distinct from the field of criminology.
Rural sociology - Rural sociology is a field of sociology associated with the study of life in small towns and the country. It is a scientific study of social arrangements and behaviour amongst peoples that are distanced from points of concentrated activity.
Sociology - Sociology is the study of society. The meaning of the word comes from the ending "-ology" which means "study of" and the stem "soci-" which refers to society.
Sociology of the family - Sociology of the family is the study of the family unit. Included in this type of study are the number of children in the family, their relative ages, their racial and/or ethnic backgrounds, the economic level and mobility of the unit, the education levels of the family members, what spheres of life are important in and to the family unit, and all of the intereractions of the family unit, society, culture and with each other.

Outsiders: Studies in Sociology of Deviance by Howard S. Becker, Howard Becker's Outsiders broke new ground in the early 1960s, arguing that social deviance is a more common phenomenon that perceived deviance in outsider sociology study and that conventional wisdom that social deviants are pathological is incorrect. Becker's seminal study remains the most piercing exploration about unconventional individuals deviance in outsider sociology study and their position in' normal' society.
